This worked perfectly allowing me to charge my F-150 lightning with our 2-phase Tesla home charger. Our previous adapter had a 1 foot cable that began to overheat and interrupt charging. I am hopeful that this one will not have that problem.

This device may not work with a Rav4 EV but it is a solid construction and fits together well with the Tesla charger. I could not get it to work with my Rav4 EV and the company said it is known not to work with that vehicle and refunded my money.

It connected and seemed to work fine, but soon after using it a few times my tesla mobile connecter that I have used for 5 years started faulting whenever I tried to use it on my tesla. I think it must have caused damage to the port, because it works fine charging my Electric Nissan with the adapter, and I can charge my tesla fine with other chargers, but since using this adapter I can no longer use my tesla charger on my tesla.

I bought this adapter to use Tesla destination chargers with my J1772 EV, and it has worked flawlessly. It feels solid, locks securely into place, and charging has been reliable every time. It’s compact, easy to keep in the car, and seems very well made. For the price, it’s an excellent alternative to more expensive adapters. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who needs a dependable Tesla-to-J1772 adapter.
